The Challenge

Condensation was defeating label pickup before the bottle left the labeler

The bottler needed a label adhesive that could bite through surface moisture, stay clean on a high-speed rotary system, and still release correctly in the returnable-bottle wash.

  • Labels flagged first at the leading edge when the bottle surface carried more condensation than the previous shift.
  • Low-viscosity glue threw off the pallet at speed, contaminating nearby machine zones and increasing cleanup pressure.
  • Returnable-bottle programs still required dependable wash-off, so the answer could not be a permanent residue-heavy bond.
THE SOLUTION

A moisture-penetrating synthetic adhesive tuned for rotary rheology and wash-off behavior

Senda aligned adhesive pickup, bottle-surface wetting, and machine cleanliness so the label laid flat on cold glass without sacrificing downstream bottle recovery.
